# TeamViewer Remote Control vs DeskIn Remote Desktop

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TeamViewer Remote Control at 45K against DeskIn Remote Desktop's 332. DeskIn Remote Desktop's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 45%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TeamViewer Remote Control sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $619.99 per year and DeskIn Remote Desktop sells 26 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for TeamViewer Remote Control against 4.5 for DeskIn Remote Desktop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeamViewer Remote Control has 45K ratings behind it against 332, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 45% of TeamViewer Remote Control's written reviews are positive against 69% of DeskIn Remote Desktop's.
