# TeamViewer Remote Control vs Kelvinator

The clearest difference is rating: TeamViewer Remote Control at 4.7 against Kelvinator's 1.0. TeamViewer Remote Control also leads on ratings volume (45K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Kelvinator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TeamViewer Remote Control sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $619.99 per year. Kelvinator asks for nothing beyond the download.

TeamViewer Remote Control holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeamViewer Remote Control has 45K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of TeamViewer Remote Control's written reviews are positive against 50% of Kelvinator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TeamViewer Remote Control ships an update every 3 weeks, Kelvinator every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
