# Southeast vs MU Engage

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Southeast at 50% against MU Engage's 0%. Southeast also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.4). MU Engage's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 2.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MU Engage holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MU Engage has 201 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Southeast's written reviews are positive against 0% of MU Engage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Southeast ships an update every 10 months, MU Engage every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
