# Coach Viewer vs Coerver Soccer

The clearest difference is rating: Coach Viewer at 5.0 against Coerver Soccer's 2.5. Coach Viewer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). Coerver Soccer's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coerver Soccer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Coach Viewer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Coach Viewer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coerver Soccer has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Coach Viewer's written reviews are positive against 40% of Coerver Soccer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Coach Viewer ships an update every 5 months, Coerver Soccer every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
