# OLX vs Pichau

The clearest difference is ads: Pichau at none against OLX's shown. Pichau also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). OLX's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 21) and review sentiment (31% vs 12%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pichau holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OLX has 4.1K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of OLX's written reviews are positive against 12% of Pichau's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OLX ships an update weekly, Pichau fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
