# Lost Echo vs Otok

The clearest difference is rating: Lost Echo at 4.6 against Otok's 3.7. Lost Echo also leads on ratings volume (86 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Otok's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and price ($0.99 vs $4.49). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Lost Echo costs $4.49 and Otok $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lost Echo holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lost Echo has 86 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Lost Echo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Otok's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lost Echo ships an update fortnightly, Otok every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
