# Heetch vs Vélam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Heetch at 58% against Vélam's 11%. Heetch also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 2). Vélam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vélam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heetch has 6.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Heetch's written reviews are positive against 11% of Vélam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Heetch ships an update weekly, Vélam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
