# Brainsparker Creativity Coach vs Skillshare

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skillshare at every 10 days against Brainsparker Creativity Coach's every 2 months. Skillshare also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 1.4K). Brainsparker Creativity Coach's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 62%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainsparker Creativity Coach sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skillshare holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Brainsparker Creativity Coach's written reviews are positive against 62% of Skillshare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brainsparker Creativity Coach ships an update every 2 months, Skillshare every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
