# Equinox App vs Crestron Go

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Equinox App at none against Crestron Go's 1. Equinox App also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Crestron Go's advantage is rating (2.2 vs 1.8). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crestron Go sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Equinox App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Crestron Go holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 75 and 99 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Equinox App's written reviews are positive against 10% of Crestron Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Equinox App ships an update every 3 months, Crestron Go every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
