# ALPConnect vs Enroad

The clearest difference is rating: Enroad at 4.8 against ALPConnect's 3.9. Enroad also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (6.7K vs 16). ALPConnect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (50% vs 23%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Enroad sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. ALPConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Enroad holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Enroad has 6.7K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ALPConnect's written reviews are positive against 23% of Enroad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ALPConnect ships an update every 4 months, Enroad every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
