# Filterloop vs Aviary+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Filterloop at 75% against Aviary+'s 7%. Filterloop also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 3K). Aviary+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Filterloop sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Aviary+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aviary+ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13K and 3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Filterloop's written reviews are positive against 7% of Aviary+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Filterloop ships an update every 2 months, Aviary+ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
