# Filterloop vs Arty

The clearest difference is rating: Filterloop at 4.3 against Arty's 1.5. Filterloop also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 2). Arty's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Filterloop sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Arty sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Filterloop holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Filterloop has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
