# CANAL+ vs AppShow

The clearest difference is rating: AppShow at 5.0 against CANAL+'s 3.8. AppShow also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). CANAL+'s advantage is ratings volume (513 vs 2) and device support (5 vs 3). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CANAL+ sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. AppShow asks for nothing beyond the download.

AppShow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CANAL+ has 513 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CANAL+ ships an update fortnightly, AppShow every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
