# touch Roaming vs TaxiF

The clearest difference is rating: TaxiF at 4.7 against touch Roaming's 3.0. TaxiF also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (16K vs 2). touch Roaming's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TaxiF holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaxiF has 16K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of touch Roaming's written reviews are positive against 51% of TaxiF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

touch Roaming ships an update every 21 months, TaxiF fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
