# VPN Unlimited vs MuseWrite

The clearest difference is rating: MuseWrite at 5.0 against VPN Unlimited's 4.6. MuseWrite also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 79%). VPN Unlimited's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 1) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Unlimited sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MuseWrite sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MuseWrite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Unlimited has 23K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of VPN Unlimited's written reviews are positive against 100% of MuseWrite's.

VPN Unlimited ships an update fortnightly, MuseWrite every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
