# Tithe.ly vs SimpleGive

The clearest difference is rating: Tithe.ly at 4.5 against SimpleGive's 3.6. Tithe.ly also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 9) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). SimpleGive's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 45%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tithe.ly holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tithe.ly has 1.3K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Tithe.ly's written reviews are positive against 60% of SimpleGive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tithe.ly ships an update every 3 weeks, SimpleGive every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
