# PS Snapshot! vs PavementSoft

The clearest difference is rating: PavementSoft at 4.4 against PS Snapshot!'s 3.5. PS Snapshot!'s advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PavementSoft holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of PS Snapshot!'s written reviews are positive against 33% of PavementSoft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PS Snapshot! ships an update every 3 weeks, PavementSoft fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
