# NRTM vs Dune

The clearest difference is price: NRTM at Free against Dune's $10.99. NRTM also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). Dune's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

NRTM is free to download; Dune costs $10.99 up front. NRTM sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Dune sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dune holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dune has 4.9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of NRTM's written reviews are positive against 79% of Dune's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NRTM ships an update every 6 weeks, Dune every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
