# Skylink vs Adderpad

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Skylink at none against Adderpad's 1. Skylink also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). Adderpad's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adderpad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Skylink asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skylink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adderpad has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Skylink ships an update every 2 months, Adderpad every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
