# iSpyMobile vs ShockLink

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ShockLink at 100% against iSpyMobile's 32%. ShockLink also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.8) and monetization model (free vs freemium). iSpyMobile's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (30 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShockLink holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iSpyMobile has 30 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of iSpyMobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of ShockLink's.

iSpyMobile ships an update every 3 weeks, ShockLink every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
