# Internet Speed vs V

The clearest difference is review sentiment: V at 92% against Internet Speed's 54%. V also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 70). Internet Speed's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Internet Speed sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. V asks for nothing beyond the download.

V holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V has 1.2K ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Internet Speed's written reviews are positive against 92% of V's.

Internet Speed ships an update every 3 months, V every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
