# RoadReady vs Midd

The clearest difference is rating: Midd at 3.7 against RoadReady's 2.9. RoadReady's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (19K vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Midd holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoadReady has 19K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of RoadReady's written reviews are positive against 0% of Midd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoadReady ships an update every 6 days, Midd every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
