# RoadReady vs Clear Lake Schools

The clearest difference is rating: Clear Lake Schools at 4.0 against RoadReady's 2.9. RoadReady's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Clear Lake Schools holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoadReady has 19K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of RoadReady's written reviews are positive against 0% of Clear Lake Schools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoadReady ships an update every 6 days, Clear Lake Schools monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
