# RoadReady vs Climax

The clearest difference is rating: Climax at 5.0 against RoadReady's 2.9. RoadReady's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (19K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Climax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoadReady has 19K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RoadReady ships an update every 6 days, Climax every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
