# RoadReady vs StudentVUE (New)

The clearest difference is rating: RoadReady at 2.9 against StudentVUE (New)'s 1.6. RoadReady also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (19K vs 915). StudentVUE (New)'s advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 7%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RoadReady holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoadReady has 19K ratings behind it against 915, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of RoadReady's written reviews are positive against 20% of StudentVUE (New)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoadReady ships an update every 6 days, StudentVUE (New) monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
