# Slice vs Jet's Pizza

The clearest difference is monetization model: Jet's Pizza at free against Slice's free with in-app purchases. Jet's Pizza also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Slice's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Slice holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slice has 738K ratings behind it against 67K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Slice's written reviews are positive against 35% of Jet's Pizza's.

Slice ships an update every 8 days, Jet's Pizza every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
