# Carroll EMC vs dwellingLIVE

The clearest difference is rating: Carroll EMC at 1.9 against dwellingLIVE's 1.3. Carroll EMC also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). dwellingLIVE's advantage is ratings volume (639 vs 26) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Carroll EMC holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: dwellingLIVE has 639 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Carroll EMC's written reviews are positive against 6% of dwellingLIVE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Carroll EMC ships an update every 6 months, dwellingLIVE every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
