# Sisyphos vs Smash Rocket

The clearest difference is rating: Sisyphos at 4.2 against Smash Rocket's 3.5. Sisyphos also leads on ratings volume (371 vs 4). Smash Rocket's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sisyphos sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Smash Rocket sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sisyphos holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sisyphos has 371 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Sisyphos's written reviews are positive against 100% of Smash Rocket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sisyphos ships an update every 2 months, Smash Rocket weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
