# OXYGEN vs TLC GO

The clearest difference is rating: TLC GO at 4.8 against OXYGEN's 4.6. TLC GO also leads on ratings volume (118K vs 17K) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). OXYGEN's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 26%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TLC GO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLC GO has 118K ratings behind it against 17K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of OXYGEN's written reviews are positive against 26% of TLC GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OXYGEN ships an update every 5 weeks, TLC GO every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
