# Silvertrac vs ICSD

The clearest difference is rating: ICSD at 4.9 against Silvertrac's 2.6. ICSD also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.5). Silvertrac's advantage is ratings volume (134 vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ICSD holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Silvertrac has 134 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Silvertrac ships an update every 2 months, ICSD every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
