# Quicken Classic vs Workiro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Workiro at 67% against Quicken Classic's 12%. Quicken Classic's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (15K vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Quicken Classic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quicken Classic has 15K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Quicken Classic's written reviews are positive against 67% of Workiro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Quicken Classic ships an update every 3 weeks, Workiro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
