# Matterport vs Tomar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Matterport at none against Tomar's 8. Matterport also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 1). Tomar's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tomar sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Matterport asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tomar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matterport has 4.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
