# TeraView vs RED_CONTROL

The clearest difference is rating: RED_CONTROL at 4.1 against TeraView's 3.0. RED_CONTROL also leads on ratings volume (53 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). TeraView's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 56%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RED_CONTROL holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RED_CONTROL has 53 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of TeraView's written reviews are positive against 56% of RED_CONTROL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TeraView ships an update every 2 months, RED_CONTROL every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
