# Matchup Speedrun vs CRIMO

The clearest difference is rating: CRIMO at 4.6 against Matchup Speedrun's 4.0. CRIMO also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 2). Matchup Speedrun's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Matchup Speedrun sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and CRIMO sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CRIMO holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CRIMO has 2.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Matchup Speedrun's written reviews are positive against 40% of CRIMO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Matchup Speedrun ships an update every 5 months, CRIMO every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
