# Subterfuge vs Kingdom Command

The clearest difference is rating: Subterfuge at 4.7 against Kingdom Command's 3.0. Subterfuge also leads on ratings volume (585 vs 2). Kingdom Command's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subterfuge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Kingdom Command sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subterfuge holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subterfuge has 585 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Subterfuge's written reviews are positive against 100% of Kingdom Command's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Subterfuge ships an update every 10 days, Kingdom Command fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
