# Live Assist vs Sunnova

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Live Assist at 40% against Sunnova's 6%. Live Assist also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). Sunnova's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (844 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sunnova holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sunnova has 844 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Live Assist's written reviews are positive against 6% of Sunnova's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Assist ships an update every 2 months, Sunnova every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
