# EShare for iPad vs Fast Cast

The clearest difference is ads: EShare for iPad at none against Fast Cast's shown. EShare for iPad also leads on rating (3.2 vs 3.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Fast Cast's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 33%) and ratings volume (98 vs 10). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EShare for iPad holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast Cast has 98 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of EShare for iPad's written reviews are positive against 46% of Fast Cast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EShare for iPad ships an update every 4 months, Fast Cast every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
