# Doodle Devil™ Alchemy vs Asterism

The clearest difference is ads: Asterism at none against Doodle Devil™ Alchemy's shown. Asterism also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doodle Devil™ Alchemy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Asterism sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doodle Devil™ Alchemy ships an update every 3 months, Asterism every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
