# Taskio vs Todo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Taskio at freemium against Todo's subscription. Taskio also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (57% vs 48%). Todo's advantage is ratings volume (397 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taskio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Todo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taskio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Todo has 397 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Taskio's written reviews are positive against 48% of Todo's.

Taskio ships an update every 5 weeks, Todo every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
