# DaysToGo vs Countdown Timer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DaysToGo at none against Countdown Timer's 17. DaysToGo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Countdown Timer's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Timer sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. DaysToGo asks for nothing beyond the download.

DaysToGo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown Timer has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 60% and 60% positive.

DaysToGo ships an update every 4 months, Countdown Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
