# GetYourGuide vs FRECCIAPlay

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GetYourGuide at 68% against FRECCIAPlay's 17%. GetYourGuide also leads on rating (4.9 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (335K vs 11). FRECCIAPlay's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GetYourGuide holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetYourGuide has 335K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of GetYourGuide's written reviews are positive against 17% of FRECCIAPlay's.

GetYourGuide ships an update every 5 days, FRECCIAPlay every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
