# GetYourGuide vs WalksDevour

The clearest difference is ads: WalksDevour at none against GetYourGuide's shown. WalksDevour also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). GetYourGuide's advantage is ratings volume (335K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GetYourGuide against 5.0 for WalksDevour. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetYourGuide has 335K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GetYourGuide ships an update every 5 days, WalksDevour fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
