# Daily Notes Planner vs Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Planner at 4.7 against Daily Notes Planner's 3.0. Planner also leads on ratings volume (736 vs 9) and review sentiment (59% vs 50%). Daily Notes Planner's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Notes Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Planner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planner has 736 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Daily Notes Planner's written reviews are positive against 59% of Planner's.

Daily Notes Planner ships an update weekly, Planner monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
