# Daily Notes Planner vs Weekly Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Weekly Planner at 4.3 against Daily Notes Planner's 3.2. Weekly Planner also leads on ratings volume (113 vs 10). Daily Notes Planner's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Notes Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Weekly Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weekly Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weekly Planner has 113 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Daily Notes Planner's written reviews are positive against 33% of Weekly Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Notes Planner ships an update weekly, Weekly Planner every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
