# Weather Authority vs ISeeChange Tracker

Weather Authority and ISeeChange Tracker both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ISeeChange Tracker's written reviews are positive against 56% of Weather Authority's. ISeeChange Tracker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Weather Authority's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 10). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weather Authority holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather Authority has 14K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Weather Authority's written reviews are positive against 100% of ISeeChange Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weather Authority ships an update every 3 months, ISeeChange Tracker every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
