# Bandcamp vs Jam Scsh

Bandcamp and Jam Scsh both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Jam Scsh's written reviews are positive against 51% of Bandcamp's. Jam Scsh also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Bandcamp's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ratings volume (38K vs 9). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jam Scsh sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Bandcamp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Jam Scsh holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bandcamp has 38K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
