# Bandcamp vs KSJS Radio

Bandcamp and KSJS Radio both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of KSJS Radio's written reviews are positive against 51% of Bandcamp's. Bandcamp's advantage is ratings volume (38K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KSJS Radio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bandcamp has 38K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Bandcamp's written reviews are positive against 100% of KSJS Radio's.

Bandcamp ships an update every 3 weeks, KSJS Radio every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
