# Starfall vs Prodigy Math Game

The clearest difference is rating: Prodigy Math Game at 4.8 against Starfall's 4.1. Prodigy Math Game also leads on ratings volume (239K vs 4.3K). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Starfall sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and Prodigy Math Game sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prodigy Math Game holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prodigy Math Game has 239K ratings behind it against 4.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Starfall's written reviews are positive against 71% of Prodigy Math Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Starfall ships an update every 2 months, Prodigy Math Game every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
