# Todo vs Task.do

The clearest difference is rating: Todo at 4.4 against Task.do's 3.5. Todo also leads on ratings volume (397 vs 36) and device support (4 vs 2). Task.do's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Todo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Task.do sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Todo holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Todo has 397 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Todo's written reviews are positive against 64% of Task.do's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Todo ships an update every 2 months, Task.do weekly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
