# Todo vs To do List

The clearest difference is rating: To do List at 5.0 against Todo's 4.4. To do List also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Todo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (397 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Todo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and To do List sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

To do List holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Todo has 397 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Todo ships an update every 2 months, To do List fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
